The Hatfield Centre offers meeting planners
many options. The Beach House can accommodate small working
groups, while local Bed and Breakfasts and rental cottages
offer colleagues a chance to work together during business
hours, with personal privacy in off-hours. Meetings for
up to 10 or 12 participants can be held in the Beach House
dining room. The local community centre is available for
larger groups.

Board of Director and Annual General Meetings
Board of Directors meetings, Annual General
Meetings and other similar events can be held either in
the dining room, or in the upstairs sun room. Either room
can be set up to your requirements. Windows on 3 sides ensure
lots of natural light and beautiful, restful views – all
conducive to creativity, problem solving and consensus building.

Workshops and seminars
The Hatfield Centre also provides a perfect
location for workshops and seminars.
The Centre offers meeting planners many
options. The Beach House can accommodate small groups and
local Bed and Breakfasts and rental cottages offer colleagues
a chance to work together during business hours, with personal
privacy in off-hours.
Welcome receptions and casual meetings can
be held at the Beach House, and meals can be organized either
on or off-site.
Workshops for up to 12 participants can be held in the Beach
House dining room, while the local Community Centre provides
a comfortable and unique setting for larger meetings, workshops
and seminars.

Activities

Liz Yorke – owner, The Beach House on Hatfield
Road
Liz Yorke, owner of The Beach House on Hatfield Road, splits
her time between Nova Scotia and Toronto. In Nova Scotia,
she manages The Beach House on Hatfield Road - a luxury
four season rental vacation home on the Minas Basin in Fox
River, Cumberland County - and her blueberry land in Yorke
Settlement. The Beach House can be visited at

Since 1990, Liz has led and operated Liz Yorke and Associates,
a health and human services management consulting firm,
which provides services to the corporate, not-for-profit
and broader public sectors. The firm serves clients throughout

resources, including Fox River, Port Greville, Wards Brook

Sky Kites. She is a strong supporter of innovative community
development activities and public-private partnerships,
and has provided consultative advice on these approaches
