The Beach House on Hatfield Road, situated on Nova Scotia’s Bay of Fundy, is one of the province’s loveliest rental cottages and is an unsurpassed location for unique corporate events and retreats.

In addition to providing luxurious accommodation for the visiting public, we have launched The Hatfield Centre - a brand new venue for the corporate community.

This beautiful, secluded setting, with elegant accommodation, extra lodging available in local communities, on-site meeting facilities for small groups, large workshop and conference space available in the community centre, a range of independent catering services, and full attention to all details, is conducive to corporate clients focusing on achieving their goals.

The Hatfield Centre offers meeting planners many options. The Beach House can accommodate small working groups, while local Bed and Breakfasts and rental cottages offer colleagues a chance to work together during business hours, with personal privacy in off-hours. Meetings for up to 10 or 12 participants can be held in the Beach House dining room. The local community centre is available for larger groups.

Board of Directors meetings, Annual General Meetings and other similar events can be held either in the dining room, or in the upstairs sun room. Either room can be set up to your requirements. Windows on 3 sides ensure lots of natural light and beautiful, restful views – all conducive to creativity, problem solving and consensus building.

The Hatfield Centre also provides a perfect location for workshops and seminars.

The Hatfield Centre offers visitors the choice of organizing catering themselves, or using our resources. The Beach House is fully equipped with lots of dishes and cooking supplies. We can supply you with a list of caterers who provide down home cooking, unique Nova Scotian dishes, and gourmet meals.

Your guests, colleagues and clients will enjoy a variety of small town and seacoast experiences while participating in corporate events at The Hatfield Centre.


Some guests will enjoy shopping at Shaw Country Market in Port Greville, and the many small shops in Parrsboro.		Other guests will enjoy the Age of Sail Museum in Port Greville and the Fundy Geological Museum in Parrsboro.

Liz Yorke, owner of The Beach House on Hatfield Road, splits her time between Nova Scotia and Toronto. In Nova Scotia, she manages The Beach House on Hatfield Road - a luxury four season rental vacation home on the Minas Basin in Fox River, Cumberland County - and her blueberry land in Yorke Settlement.
